February 2014 brought a very special guest to The Boom Bap Atlanta at The Basement: the legendary Diamond D — mister “Stunts, Blunts and Hip Hop” himself — rocking a DJ set of classic hip-hop and breaks for one night only, plus an exclusive early preview of his then-new record “The Diam Piece.” Word was J-Live and Big Rec would be joining in for the early listen as well.
