He is one half of Kon and Amir, who released the acclaimed “On Track” and “Off Track” series on BBE Records where they introduced rare grooves to a new audience. His remixes of dance classics prompted Gilles Peterson to name him “Edit/rework King of 2011”, and feature him prominently on his BBC Radio shows.

SATURDAY May 25th @ THE FIVE SPOT – DJ DAY has toured the world many times over as a solo artist and with fellow musicians Aloe Blacc, Exile and People Under the Stairs. Amongst numerous accolades, he was nominated for Song of the Year awards both by the BBC and The Village Voice and his music has been licensed for commercials by DC Shoes, Red Bull Music Academy, Rane/Serato, and numerous full length feature films. Day recently returned from from touring Russia, Europe and New Zealand to finish the recording and mixing of Land Of 1000 Chances.

Most known for his role as co-founder of Philadelphia’s most prolific and well-respected DJ/Production crew, Illvibe Collective he has maintained a solid following in the Philadelphia, Tri State Area. He is the official tour DJ for the legendary MC, Bahamadia and other international hip-hop artists, including Hezekiah, Shape of Broad Minds, and Mr. Lif.

FRIDAY June 27th @ THE BASEMENT Atlanta, GA – Quite simply, Cosmo Baker is New York’s best and most exciting party-rocking DJ. He is a master of hip-hop, a king of disco & funk, a don of electronic dance music, and his unique style and skill is able to bring it all together to rock crowds of thousands around the globe. A Philadelphia native, from a city with one of the richest DJ histories, Cosmo cut his chops alongside contemporaries such as ?uestlove and Rich Medina, and when he relocated to Brooklyn in the early ’00s he helped found the internationally known DJ / remix collective The Rub. During the past 10 years Cosmo has played the four corners of the globe and has released countless mix tapes, remixes, and records.
