Special Guest: Young Guru:
Young Guru, is an American audio engineer, record producer and DJ. Young Guru was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2011 for his work on “Empire State of Mind” by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys.
He was also the DJ for the Kanye West/Jay Z “Watch the Throne” Tour. Over the years Young Guru has been a major part of several artists’ careers in addition to Jay-Z, including Beyoncé, Rihanna, Ludacris, Ghostface Killah, Freeway, Cam’ron, Redman & Method Man, Mariah Carey, Pete Rock, Fabolous, Talib Kweli, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and T.I.

BREAKBEAT LOU:
Louis Flores, better known as “BreakBeat Lou,” is a staple and legend in the music and entertainment industry. As a disc jockey and music producer, Breakbeat Lou is most recognized for creating “The Ultimate Breaks and Beats” Compilation with the late Leonard “BreakBeat Lenny” Roberts. This seminal series has been sampled by many of hip-hop’s elite producers like DJ Premier (Gangstarr), Large Professor, The Bomb Squad (Public Enemy), Pete Rock, Dr. Dre, Marley Marl and countless others. The series has been instrumental in the production of countless classic recordings over the years. Contemporary producers and DJs such as J Dilla, Salaam Remi, Rhettmatic, Mr. Len, Kenny “Dope” Gonzalez and Just Blaze continue to depend on the compilation. Flores’ work with UBB became the blueprint for sampled music and remains relevant and integral to hip-hop music and culture. The UBB Collection has also birthed various genres of music such as Drum & Bass.

CASE BLOOM:
Case Bloom…DJ, entrepreneur, promoter, crowd pleaser…is the Co-Founder and Co-Owner of Tucker andBloom and The Boom Bap. Raised in the Music City on trips to local record stores, too many tacos, and late night hours taping mix shows off the radio, Case caught the DJ bug early on and has been putting in work behind the turntables and in the streets for a number of years. Case’s diverse musical selection, impeccable timing, and seamless mixing hit dancers square in the sweet spot, taking crowds on a journey through party classics covering Funk and Disco, Hip Hop, Breaks, House, Latin, and everything in between.
