Friends and Buddies
On Sunday, September 13th, we took over Hattie B’s Hot Chicken on Gallatin Avenue for a Friends and Buddies hang — five hours of records, live performances, $5 beers, and good East Nashville company.
I was joined behind the decks by Esteban La Groue, spinning records together from noon to five.
Hattie B’s also commissioned a run of chicken man totes from us at Tucker & Bloom — free for everyone who got there in time. DJ work on one side, bag design on the other: this is what happens when both worlds show up to the same party.
