Who we are

This is the website of Case Bloom, a DJ and event-booking business based in Nashville, Tennessee, operating at casebloom.net. This also covers pages for affiliated projects Tucker and Bloom and The Boom Bap. Any reference to “we,” “us,” or “our” in this policy means Case Bloom.

Information we collect

Booking and contact inquiries. When you submit the booking inquiry form on our Contact page, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, event type, event date, venue/city, estimated budget, and event details. This information is sent to us by email so we can respond to your inquiry.

Automatically collected information. Like most websites, our server and hosting provider automatically log standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the pages you view. This is used for security and to keep the site running properly.

Comments. If commenting is enabled on any page or post and you leave a comment, we collect the data shown in the comment form, plus your IP address and browser user-agent string to help with spam detection. An anonymized hash of your email address may be checked against the Gravatar service to see if you use it; if so, your Gravatar profile picture may be shown next to your comment. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at automattic.com/privacy.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit through the booking form solely to respond to your inquiry and, if you book us, to plan and deliver the event. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing to third parties.

Cookies

We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress, the software that runs this site, sets a small number of technical cookies: if you visit our login page, a temporary cookie checks whether your browser accepts cookies; if you log in (site administrators only), cookies save your login state; and if you leave a comment, you may optionally save your name, email, and website in a cookie for your convenience on future comments. These cookies contain no advertising data and mostly expire within a day to a year depending on the cookie.

Embedded and third-party content

Some pages link to or embed content from other websites, such as Bandcamp and social media. If you interact with that embedded content, the third-party site may collect data about you, including through cookies, in the same way as if you had visited that site directly. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.

This site also loads typefaces from Google Fonts to display correctly. Loading these fonts may share your IP address with Google. Google’s privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

Who we share your data with

We share booking-inquiry information only with the people directly involved in fulfilling your event (for example, other DJs or staff working the same event), and with our email and website hosting providers, who process it on our behalf to operate the site. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

How long we keep your data

We keep booking-inquiry emails for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your inquiry, deliver a booked event, and keep basic business records afterward, after which we delete them or remove identifying details. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely so that follow-up comments from you can be recognized automatically.

Your rights over your data

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to any records we’re required to keep for legitimate business, legal, or security reasons. To make a request, use the booking/contact form on this site and let us know what you’d like.
