DJ YNOT has been a staple behind turntables for over a decade. YNOT relocated from his then home Portland Oregon to Orlando Florida in 20002 and has since established himself as one of the Premier DJs in the city. YNOT’s ability and dedication to the art forum along with his crowd pleasing selections have lead him to share the stage with everyone from Hip-Hop legends The Wu Tang Clan, Little Brother, and Krs-1, to Pop Icon Britney Spears. In a quest to push musical boundaries YNOT’s turntable wizardry has earned him the honor to play alongside such DJ luminaries as A-trak, Peanut Butter Wolf, Kenny Dope, DJ Premier, Pete Rock and Maseo, as well as hold down a 2 year residency in Orlando at club Firestone for the now infamous “Saturday Thursday” party and select guest spots at Orlando’s longest running weekly party (15 years) Phat N Jazzy.
YNOT’s turntable dexterity has also been solicited by corporate client’s such as Red Bull, Scion, MTV, thetruth.com, Ann Taylor, Van’s skatepark, Grand Bohemian Hotel, H&M and The Scratch Events (Miami). Currently YNOT can be found spinning at residences from Miami to Tallahassee as well as being a catalyst for the local Orlando scene by promoting and hosting events exposing musical aficionados to international talent and artistry. From day one YNOT has been dedicated to raising the bar for party rocking and the art forum of Djing and looks to prove himself as one of the hardest working DJ’s in the game.
